Charging $49 for 1,000 AI messages feels significantly high, especially considering that using our own API keys would cost less than $1 for the same volume, depending on the model. The AI ecosystem has evolved rapidly. Many platforms now offer flexible integrations that allow users to connect their own APIs, giving them better cost control and scalability. In today’s competitive landscape, customer satisfaction depends not only on features but also on pricing fairness and flexibility. ChatFuel offers powerful and nearly exclusive features that many businesses rely on. That is precisely why I am writing this suggestion. Rather than pushing users to explore alternative platforms due to pricing constraints, I strongly encourage you to consider allowing users to integrate their own AI API keys. This would create a win-win situation: • Users gain cost efficiency and flexibility • ChatFuel retains and strengthens its customer base • The platform becomes even more competitive in the AI automation space I genuinely believe this addition would significantly improve user experience and long-term platform loyalty.
